I Corinthians 13:4

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant"

This story, written in rhyme, tells us about the most Fabulous Ball of the Fall. A Fall Ball hosted by Foolana Deetal the conceited beetle.

Though Lucy tries to warn Pat about Ms. Deetal's arrogance and conceit, Pat is excited at the prospect of attending Foolana’s Fall Ball. Everyone who is anyone is going to be there.

But, upon arriving, things quickly go wrong as Ms. Deetal offends Pat's companion, the little ladybug Cassy. After some turmoil, Pat gently reminds Ms. Deetal what true friendship is about. Ms. Deetal humbly apologizes to little Cassy and her other guests. The ball does, indeed, become the best ball of that Fabulous Fall.

This story teaches children that pride and arrogance have no place in God’s world.
